The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has promoted Christopher M. Wooten to commander of Highway Patrol Troop 6, which covers the Lowcountry region.
Congratulations to Chief David Maxwell on his retirement after 42 years in law enforcement, including 14 years leading Due West. We wish him well in retirement and welcome Ben Loughner as the town’s new Chief of Police.
